Welcome to the Sea-Pal's Home Page

Built in 1967 and launched in 1968, the Sea-Pal was built by master shipwright Peter Lind, she is 32 feet long with a 12 foot + beam. Powered by an Ford V-8, 215 hp Intercepter engine. She was the last boat he built.

The Sea-Pal is currently a gillnetter, but the reel could easily be removed and the boat made into a cruiser. Her hull is sound, with no apparent rot. Although she needs an update, for the right person it's a great place to start!

Since her launch in '68, she's only been in the water 3-4 months out of the year, and she's been in covered storage for the past 30 plus years. The engine did run when she went into storage, it's doubtful that it would run now. But to our knowledge the engine is not "frozen". Ideally the gasoline engine would be replaced with a diesel.

The Sea-Pal does have a heavy duty tandem axle trailer for storage and transportation; although, it has no shocks and was used only to make the short trip to the Bellingham Harbor. But she is easily towed with a full size pickup. She is also a documented vessel.

She's relatively light and can be moved with a minimum of a 5/8's ton pickup. A dual tired truck is not required.
